Over a century ago, Captain Richard King realized that ranching on the harsh and rugged plains of South Texas demanded strong men, horses, cattle – and outstanding gear. After failed attempts to find equipment that met his high standards, he embarked in the leather goods business himself, hiring experienced craftsmen who could make durable and unyielding tack. It was then that the King Ranch Saddlery was born.
Today, the tradition continues with our quality luggage, briefcases, personal and business accessories, and outdoor gear in the following pages. No where else will you find products such as these. Exclusive to King Ranch, all of our custom leather goods can be purchased only at the original King Ranch Saddle Shop through our catalog and now online. Years ago the promise was made, " The Running Brand would only be put on goods of the finest quality." That promise lives on today and, though the hands may have changed, the pride of our time-honored craft lives on. |
